Felix Murad, M.Ed., LPC-S, NCC
Supervision shaped by clinical work, consultation, and real practice decisions
I am a Texas-licensed professional counselor–supervisor and a nationally certified counselor who provides supervision to licensed professional counselor associates across Texas. My approach with supervisees blends practical guidance, reflection, and support to help develop clinical judgment you can articulate and apply.
Supervision Texas is for Texas LPC Associate supervision. Individuals seeking therapy can visit Murad Counseling, Felix’s separate therapy practice.

A supervision relationship with both warmth and accountability
My goal is not to ensure you perform with certainty. It is to help you think clearly, practice ethically, recognize what you know, identify what you need to learn, and make responsible decisions with clients.
Supervision should make room for your questions while still prioritizing client care.

Theoretical Orientation
My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Humanistic Philosophy
I share a basic humanistic philosophy and believe people are inherently good and are truly the experts in their own lives.
Measured Outcomes
I use measured outcomes to help determine the client’s progress. Supervision with me focuses on learning how to administer and score assessments.
Social Justice
I stay aware of the systems and laws that oppress or further marginalize my clients, and I advocate for them when it makes sense to.
Supervision guided by excellence.
